Our Story

Our chef Jimmy Lee is a well known face in the UK’s cuisine scene. Jimmy was honoured with the highly coveted Chef Personality of the Year award at the prestigious Scottish Food Awards in 2018, and is no stranger to the limelight, having raised his profile through his fresh and high quality approach to Oriental cuisine through his multiple media appearances.

The concept for Salt & Chilli Oriental is driven by Chef Jimmy Lee’s passion to add something new and exciting to Glasgow’s Food Scene. Out goes the Chicken Maryland and in comes Beef Brisket Curry with Mooli.
